As a Verified Seller, you can create three types of offer on Algrano: public offers, private offers, and landed price quotes.

To make things easier, we recorded a short explainer and a step-by-step demo. Watch them below 👇

Understanding the differences will help you:

  • Sell more to roasters
  • Save time on the platform
  • Check if your prices are competitive (with landed price quotes)

Offers on Algrano: quick explainer

Each type of offer works for a different situation. Public offers are best to attract new buyers on the marketplace, private offers help you make special offers for existing customers, and landed price quotes are great to match a roaster's target price. Here’s a quick breakdown:

Public offers

  • Listed on the marketplace
  • Great to find new buyers
  • Any roaster can buy
  • Algrano distributes samples
  • For any volume

Private offers

  • Only roasters with a link can buy
  • Good for existing relationships and special deals
  • Share the link on your website or social media
  • Samples not always required
  • For any volume

Landed price quotes

  • Sent to one roaster only
  • Shows the roaster’s final price (with freight + financing)
  • Great for specific deals
  • Useful when you know the roaster’s target price
  • Works best for 100+ bags

Tutorial: how to create offers

Here’s how to create each type of offer step by step. Watch the demo for the full walkthrough.

  1. Start by creating a coffee lot in the Coffees tab.
    • A “lot” is our word for a standard grade (like a blend or microlot you can sell every year).
  2. From there, you can create multiple offers using the same lot.
  3. Create public and private offers in the Offers tab.
  4. Create landed price quotes in the Sales Opportunities tab.
For all offers, you only need to add your FOB price.
    • Landed price quotes will also show you the roaster’s final price, including freight and financing.
