Frequently asked questions
To offer financing to them, roasters sign the contract with Algrano — always following the price and delivery dates you two discussed. Algrano then signs another contract with you so we can pay FOB.
You’ll always get paid FOB regardless of the payment terms agreed with the roaster. Algrano takes on the payment risk and handles collection from the roaster.
You’re paid FOB after shipment, usually 1.5 to 3 months from contract. Financing is available up to 6 months ahead via Grower Capital.
Algrano supports onboarding to the platform, explaining how everything works. We’ll also handle the post sales, when it’s time to release the coffee. No, we won’t offer coffees from other producers in your origin to roasters. You stay in full control of the relationship. We’re here to back you up.
