The Producer & Roaster Forum (PRF) in El Salvador connects green coffee producers with international roasters. On March 26th and 27th, Algrano is hosting a dedicated Matchmaking Area.

Whether you are a roaster looking for high-quality single-origin lots, or a producer wanting to grow your exports, our agenda helps you make real business connections. Here is what you can expect:

Consolidation in Shared Shipments: MAV Coffee & Finca Terrerito

One of the most significant barriers to direct trade is logistics, specifically moving small volume

Logistics is a major barrier to direct trade. Moving small volumes of green coffee is hard when you cannot pay for a full shipping container. To solve this, we are hosting sessions on Exporting Small Volumes in Shared Shipments.

We partnered with two expert consolidators to explain the shared shipment process:

  • MAV Coffee: Experts in El Salvadoran coffee, MAV will guide producers and roasters through the intricacies of consolidating lots from El Salvador.
  • Finca Terrerito: Serving as a producer and consolidator for Honduras, Finca Terrerito will outline the best practices for Honduran producers and roasters interested in sourcing from the region.

Available: March 26 (2:00 PM - 3:00 PM) & March 27 (11:00 AM - 12:00 PM). Registration required.

1:1 Producer and Roaster Meetings

The core of the Matchmaking Area is a series of 15-minute, 1:1 meetings. These sessions help build direct relationships. They allow roasters to speak directly with the producers who grew the coffee.

Financing Solutions for Coffee Producers

Cash flow is critical during the harvest and export season. To support producer, Algrano is partnering with Fair Capital forsessions on Financing for Producers. These 15-minute  are  exclusively for producers to explore financing options, to get the working capital needed for direct sales.
