You already know about coffee sourcing...

You already know how to source coffee for your roastery. You get seasonality. And you know a bit about Algrano. But do you really understand the costs and timelines involved in exporting and importing to nail a tight sourcing schedule and green coffee budget? How about communicating effectively with producers? Or saving money on logistics and carry? And what’s the best currency when contracting?

That’s why we’ve put together this workshop in Zurich for roasters and green buyers like you who want to step up their sourcing game. Whether you’re aiming to run a more efficient roastery, dodge surprise charges when you release coffee, or build genuine relationships with producers, we've packed a decade of trading and importing know-how into this workshop to help you level up. And the best part? It’s easier than you think.

It totally changed my view on how easy it can be to start a direct relation. Like really direct!

Roderick Schouten | Head Roaster and Quality Manager, Keen Coffee

I joined the Algrano workshop because I wanted to learn how a small roastery can also do direct trade.

What’s in store for you

Workshops will be led by experts across the Algrano team from Sourcing, Logistics, QC lab and you'll also meet our co-founders in the office.  You’ll leave with the tools to create a solid sourcing strategy for your roastery, making your business more efficient, impactful, and appealing to consumers.

We’ll also have guest producers and roasters who have first-hand experience with direct trade. Hear how they leverage the benefits of direct sourcing in ways most roasteries haven’t discovered yet. And of course, there will be plenty of time to network with roasters from other countries, ask questions, and spark new ideas…

I had no idea how open and collaborative Algrano is to problem resolution and how flexible you can make your own program. Algrano can really help consolidate a lot of work into one place.

Ross McIntyre | Technical Coffee Manager, Green Farm Coffee Company

This workshop gave us the understanding and confidence to start sourcing substantial volumes from an Algrano producer in Brazil. It's hugely beneficial for the simplcity in which people can source direct trade in today's market.
