World of Coffee San Diego is quickly approaching, and there’s plenty to look forward to this year.
For roasters, it’s a chance to taste new coffees, meet producers face-to-face, and discover new ways to build stronger sourcing relationships. Throughout the event, Algrano will be hosting several sessions to help roasters connect with producers, strengthen existing partnerships, and discover new coffees.
Here’s what we have planned.
Meet Algrano at Booth #3622
As always, the Algrano team will be available throughout the entire World of Coffee San Diego event.
Whether you’re already partnering with us or just curious about how Algrano can help your roastery, stop by and say hello at any time. We’ll be on hand every day to answer any questions you may have, talk about all things origins, and share more about how roasters use Algrano to source green coffee directly from producers all over the world.
Where to find us: Booth #3622, San Diego Convention Center
When: Friday 10th - Sunday 12th April
Opening hours: 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Find the Algrano booth on the floor plan.

Producer Cuppings
One of the best ways to discover new coffees? Cup alongside the producers themselves.
We’ll be hosting a series of producer-featured cuppings at the Algrano booth each day during World of Coffee San Diego. These sessions are a great opportunity to taste fresh harvests, meet the people behind them, and ask any questions you may have about processing, harvest conditions, and availability.
Friday:
- 10:15 AM - 11:15 AM - Sancoffee (Brazil)
- 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM - Clearpath Coffee (Colombia)
Saturday:
- 10:15 AM - 11:15 AM - Mountain Harvest x Swiss Water Decaf (Uganda)
- 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM - TBC
Sunday:
- 10:15 AM - 11:15 AM - TBC
- 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM - TBC
The cuppings are always one of the highlights of World of Coffee - and also one of the busiest times at the Algrano booth. If there’s a session you don’t want to miss, we recommend arriving early!

Direct Sourcing Workshop (Invite Only)
Join us for a special Direct Sourcing Workshop before the main show kicks off.
Hosted by Kat Melheim, this special edition, full-day event is designed to help roasters develop a sourcing approach that is efficient, impactful, and sustainable for their business.
Through a mix of discussion, cupping, and hands-on exercises, participants will explore how direct relationships can work in today’s market.
The day will include:
- Curated cuppings featuring producer partners
- Participatory workshops on managing price volatility
- Forward buying planning tools
- Sessions on supply chains and direct trade
- Time to network with producers and fellow roasters
“This workshop gave us the understanding and confidence to start sourcing substantial volumes from an Algrano producer in Brazil. It’s hugely beneficial for the simplicity in which people can source direct trade in today’s market.”
- Thomas Maskovich, Head of Roastery at Five Elephant [quote box?]
When: Thursday, 9th April 2026
Time: 9:00 AM - 4:30 PM

The party venue is just a 15-minute walk from the convention center, making it an easy stop after the show floor closes.
