Brand Marketing Manager

Overview 

As the Brand Marketing Manager at Algrano, you will play a crucial role in shaping and evolving how our brand is perceived by coffee roasters and producers globally. 

You’ll lead campaigns, collaborations and events to deepen awareness and understanding of our company and the changes we’re striving to make to enable independent producers and roasters to thrive.

Detail

Brand Identity; Visual & Messaging

  • Serve as the driving force behind Algrano’s brand identity, ensuring every piece of content and campaign builds our audiences’ perception of our brand.
  • Spearhead the evolution of brand assets and messaging, continuously refining them to capture the dynamic nature of what changes we’re seeking to make to the specialty coffee industry.
  • Champion a compelling ‘so what’ mindset, creating benefits-led narratives that connect deeply with our audiences.

Events: 

  • Responsible for planning, coordinating and delivering global events such as World of Coffee and Expo
  • Provide support to colleagues in other teams for their participation in ‘local’ events in both roaster and producer markets 
  • Creation and management of printed material for event participation 
  • Sourcing and managing awesome merch that reflects Algrano’s brand 

Campaigns and Project Management 

  • Develop and lead creative campaigns designed to build brand awareness and engage target audiences.

Partnerships, Media & Advertising 

  • Build and nurture partnerships with brands, companies and communities where we have mutually beneficial opportunities 
  • Activate these partnerships to support projects and campaigns 
  • Responsibility for our advertising strategy to raise awareness and understanding to target audiences, this can include sponsorship, print and digital advertising
  • Manage relationships with trade media and get publicity for relevant stories and news.  

Algrano’s Corporate Brand

  • Develop and execute a strategic roadmap to elevate Algrano’s corporate brand, aligning with broader business goals and targeting key audiences such as coffee roastery owners through business / consumer media
  • Lead compelling storytelling initiatives that position Algrano as a dynamic scale-up, using innovative media strategies to engage and inspire.
  • Identify and leverage prestigious awards and recognitions to enhance brand credibility and amplify our message within the specialty coffee community.

Your Profile: Experience, Skills and Strengths

A successful candidate for this role will bring strong relevant experience and skills including 

  • Experience building an inspiring brand; creative, bold and ambitious in your approach, and strong working collaboratively with colleagues.
  • Excellent event management experience 
  • Strong understanding of marketing and sales fundamentals which you apply to campaigns and projects 
  • Experienced building and activating partnerships, relationships and networks 
  • Creative & Strategic: Ability to blend creative thinking with strategic execution to develop engaging campaigns.
  • Experienced working with agencies and freelancers for brand and creative projects and campaigns. 
  • Collaborative & Independent: Able to work independently on substantial projects while also collaborating with teams across the organization.
  • Excellent Communicator: Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail-Oriented & Organized: Highly organized and an excellent project manager, thinking ahead to deliver projects smoothly 
  • You enjoy responsibility and both the strategic and delivery aspects of your work. 
  • Industry Knowledge & Languages: Experience in the specialty coffee industry is a big plus.
  • Business-level proficiency in Spanish and/or Portuguese is an advantage
