Overview 

As Content Marketing Manager at Algrano, you will bring Algrano’s content strategy to life — translating strategy into impactful content across email, blog, social and web. You’ll deepen understanding with meaningful educational content, tell inspiring stories, build and nurture our community, and produce work that truly resonates with our audiences — roasters in Europe and North America, and producers in Latin America, Asia and East Africa.

Reporting to the Content Team Lead, you will be the engine at the heart of our content team, owning the production and publishing rhythm across our core channels.

This role is critical in helping Algrano achieve its mission of creating change through technology, enabling independent producers and roasters to thrive.

We’re looking for someone with deep coffee-industry insight, a proven track record in content creation, storytelling and social media, who is highly organized, collaborative and excited about doing work that matters for people who care.

Key Responsibilities 

Content Creation and Production

  • Write, edit, and publish content: Produce and update various content forms, including long-form guides, case studies, short-form blog posts, email copy, and landing pages.
  • CMS management: Update website pages and CMS content in coordination colleagues in the Marketing team and support of our web agency.
  • Create image and video content and collaborate closely with designers to bring complex concepts (infographics, videos) to life.
  • Ensure content created for roasters and producers reflects Algrano’s values; through openness and authentic content we  inspire and educate independent entrepreneurs to address real problems and become changemakers.

Social Media and Community

  • Social Media Management: Lead the day-to-day management of Algrano’s social media presence, focusing on Instagram and LinkedIn (scheduling, posting, responding, and sparking conversation).
  • Interactive Formats: Coordinate interactive content, including live Q&A sessions, and interviews with producers and roasters.
  • User-Generated Content (UGC): Actively encourage and gather testimonials, guest posts, and origin stories to integrate the community into the narrative.

Campaigns and Collaborations 

  • Help maintain the editorial calendar, coordinate dependencies, and manage content workflows.
  • Campaign delivery: Work with colleagues in Marketing and cross-functionally to create content that supports product updates and campaigns  (teasers, explainer assets, release emails, tutorials and more).
  • Translate product features and updates into relevant, accessible and engaging content.
  • Participate in campaign planning — proposing content themes, timing, sequencing, and formats.

Optimization & Measurement

  • Track performance metrics and share insights.
  • Apply on-page SEO best practices and partner in broader SEO strategy.

Your Profile: Experience, Skills and Strengths

A successful candidate for this role will bring strong relevant experience and skills including 

  • Content Creation Expertise: Proven professional experience creating marketing content across social media, blogs, web pages, and email campaigns.
  • Writing & Storytelling: Exceptional storytelling and writing skills, with a focus on producing educational and engaging content.
  • Coffee: A high degree of coffee industry knowledge, particularly on roastery, green buying or origin is essential to create content that provides real value to our audiences.
  • CMS Proficiency: Experience with website content management systems (we use Webflow)
  • Design Collaboration & Visual Fluency: Basic design skills (e.g. using Canva or templated tools), plus the ability to create concise design briefs and collaborate effectively with designers.
  • SEO: Understanding of current SEO best practice and experience implementing this effectively. 
  • Creative & Detail-Oriented: A balance of creativity and attention to detail, ensuring content is both innovative and polished.
  • Highly Organized: You are known for your reliability, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Collaborative & Communicative: Proactive communicator, comfortable working in teams and articulating complex ideas clearly.
  • Prior experience in B2B marketing is a strong plus
  • Business-level proficiency in Spanish and/or Portuguese is an advantage, especially for producer focused content
