Overview 

As Algrano continues to expand in both roaster and producer markets, we have created this new role in the Marketing team. The Product Marketing Manager will play a crucial role as the marketing lead for innovative new products and services. 

Your mission will be to bridge the gap between our cutting-edge products and the people who can benefit from them, crafting compelling narratives that resonate deeply with our community. 

By employing a user-centered approach and leveraging insights from research, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to quickly develop an innovative marketing service for coffee producers, deliver effective go-to-market strategies, and iteratively improve our solutions, ensuring the successful implementation of our initiatives.

Detail

Marketing Services for Producers 

  • Discover, design, deliver a range marketing services Algrano can provide to producers to support their growth 
  • Oversee the ongoing delivery of these services, monitoring impact and feedback to improve them over time. 
  • Manage external partners or agencies to facilitate delivery where appropriate.

Go-to-Market Strategies

  • Create and implement strategies that drive successful product launches, working closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Sales, Sourcing with colleagues in Marketing.
  • Track performance post-launch and adapt plans to improve adoption and engagement.

Product Updates

  • Actively support our Product Team to bring a marketing dimension to their projects. 
  • Develop clear communication plans for product changes and new features, driving awareness and usage among customers.
  • Create content that educates roasters and producers on existing features and their benefits, ensuring users understand how to get the most out of Algrano’s offerings.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure updates are communicated consistently across channels.

User Insights & Understanding

  • Conduct user research to gather insights about user needs and behaviors, particularly  in origin markets 
  • Share learnings with relevant teams, helping inform product product development and marketing strategies 

Your Profile: Experience, Skills and Strengths

  • Product Marketing Expertise: Experience leading product marketing initiatives, including launching new products and services to B2B audiences.
  • User-Centered Approach: Deep commitment to understanding user needs and translating insights into actionable marketing.
  • User Research: experience conducting user research to gather insights about user needs, preferences, and behaviors, informing the development of targeted marketing strategies.
  • Proactive & Results-Driven: Ability to start new initiatives and make things happen, driving projects from concept through to successful execution.
  • Strategy through to Delivery: Skilled in developing and delivering well-considered strategies quickly and effectively.
  • Collaborative & Independent: Comfortable collaborating in cross-functional teams while also working independently to make change happen
  • Management of third parties and agencies to deliver projects 
  • Specialty Coffee Experience: Experience in the specialty coffee industry, with knowledge of origin markets, supply chains, and producer environments.
  • Marketing & Sales Principles: Strong understanding of marketing and sales fundamentals, with the ability to apply them effectively.
  • Creative & Analytical: Ability to combine creative marketing strategies with a data-driven approach, ensuring campaigns are both innovative and measurable.
  • Language Skills: Proficiency in English, with business-level fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese considered a very strong advantage
